Comprendre davantage setRetainInstance(vrai)

que exactement se produit quand vous appelez setRetainInstance(true) sur un Fragment ? La documentation est quasi inexistante et cela semble être une fonction très importante. Plus précisément, je veux savoir combien de cette séquence (que j'ai composée) est vraie:

  1. l'utilisateur fait tourner l'appareil.
  2. le fragment est détaché du Activity et Fragment.onDetach() est appelé.
  3. l'activité est détruite; Activity.onDestroy() s'appelle.
  4. l'objet java Activity est supprimé (si possible, par le GC).
  5. un nouvel objet Activity java est créé; son constructeur, et onCreate() sont appelés.
  6. dans Activity.onCreate() nous avons setContentView(...) qui définit une mise en page contenant un fragment, ou nous utilisons FragmentTransaction pour ajouter un fragment.
  7. Je ne suis vraiment pas bien sûr, mais je suppose que android est assez intelligent pour trouver le vieux fragment, et appeler Fragment.onAttach() pour rattacher à la nouvelle Activity
  8. Prochaine (ou avant? qui sait?) Activity.onResume() est appelé.

est-ce correct? Android est-il assez intelligent pour trouver le vieux fragment, même si j'utilise explicitement FragmentTransaction.add(new MyFragment(), ...) la première fois? Et si oui, comment puis-je éviter d'ajouter un autre fragment dans onCreate() ? Ai-je besoin de faire quelque chose comme cela?:

Ok, peut-être que j'ai été un peu trop sévère avec la documentation Android, parce qu'elle contient des informations utiles, mais malheureusement aucune de ces informations n'est liée à setRetainInstance() . De la page sur les fragments

Note: chaque fragment nécessite un identifiant unique que le système peut utiliser pour restaurer le fragment si l'activité est redémarré (et qui vous pouvez utiliser pour capturer le fragment d'effectuer des transactions, tels que le supprimer). Il y a trois façons de fournir un ID pour un fragment:

  • fournit l'attribut android:id avec un ID unique.
  • fournit l'attribut android:tag avec une chaîne unique.
  • si vous ne fournissez aucun des deux précédents, le système utilise L'ID de la vue conteneur.

cela implique fortement que si vous faites setContentView(R.layout.whatever) dans Activity.onCreated() et cette mise en page contient un fragment avec setRetainInstance(true) , puis lorsque l'activité est recréée il sera recherché à nouveau en utilisant son id ou étiquette.

Deuxièmement, pour les fragments sans UI, il est écrit

pour ajouter un fragment sans UI, ajouter le fragment de l'activité en utilisant add(Fragment, String) (fournissant une chaîne unique " tag " pour le fragment, plutôt qu'un ID de vue). finalement, j'ai créé ma propre activité de test pour voir exactement quelles fonctions sont appelées. Il produit ceci, quand vous commencer en portrait et tourner vers le paysage. Le code est ci-dessous.

setRetainInstance() dans Fragment la classe est un savant de remplacement pour onRetainCustomNonConfigurationInstance() de Activity de la classe, et plus encore.
