Comment puis-je sauvegarder un système Ubuntu et le restaurer sur un autre équipement avec un matériel complètement différent?

Je viens de terminer mon installation d'Ubuntu. Il contient tous les packages dont j'ai besoin et j'ai configuré correctement mes applications.

Je voudrais sauvegarder cette installation et pouvoir la restaurer sur différents ordinateurs avec un matériel différent.

J'ai lu que la solution serait la suivante:

1- Save a list of the installed packages.
2- Backup the home directory.

3- Install the same version of Ubuntu on the new machine.
4- Restore the list of installed packages on the new machine.
5- Restore the backup of the home directory on the new machine.

Cela garderait-il tous mes logiciels insallés et leurs configurations?
